The Rainforest: A Camp Lesson Plan

As mentioned in the previous post, The U.S. embassy in Ecuador holds an English immersion camp for scholarship high school students. A group of fellow PCVs are charged with presenting backgroud information on the rainforest for the 2016 camp. Here is the lesson plan, which may give you ideas for your own camp.

Zoo escape!

Animal Adjectives

This low-resource lesson engages students through one of their favorite learning topics (animals), and will teach them some very distinct English vocabulary words.This topic lends itself to good ‘creative thinking’ exercises, which can be successful in a mixed-ability classroom, as lower level students are still free to participate while higher level students can push themselves.
