Teacher Observation, Feedback, and Meeting Templates

Ecuador PCV Yajaira Hernandez shares the templates she uses to track teacher meetings, class observations, and post-class reflection and feedback.

PCVs and their counterpart teachers can use these templates to enhance their collaborative work. I especially like the “Additional considerations” listed at the bottom of the Teacher Reflection and Feedback form:

What was the purpose of the activity? Did the students understand? Did they like it? What were some problems and how were they solved? How many times did you perform the activity? Did it get better as you did it more? Did you make changes from course to course? What was the activity’s impact?

Often we are too busy or exhausted to record our thoughts, which is critical to improving our work. Keep a copy close at hand so you can make notes while the thoughts are fresh!
